DESCRIPTION:Courses assist 7(j) government contractors understand NIST 800-171 and DFARS 252.204-7012 requirements and provide information on good cyber hygiene and how to protect your assets\, reputation and customers for commercial firms. Participants must register in LMS prior to signing up for course.   Eligible 7(j) participants completing modules 1-10 sequentially will be provided 30-day access to an assessment tool that they can immediately use to assess their company's cybersecurity risk and provide information on how to improve their security posture.   Modules 11-16 "How To" courses cover topics such as Building a (Cyber) Security Plan\, incident response planning and implementation\, federal breach notification requirements and others.   A detailed summary of classes and training calendar are attached. ** 7(j) eligible firms include: 8(a)\, HUBZone\, ED/WOSB and firms in high unemployment or low income areas.
